ETTINSMOOR MORSE

To get really dark Fox Red pups you need to inject another colour. If you keep mating Fox Red to Fox Red you actually dilute the colour. Morse carries Fox Red and if used on a yellow bitch, or a black bitch carrying yellow you stand a good chance of getting some dark Fox Red pups (as I did when producing Folly she is a yellow x yellow mating).

Morse's Fox Red ancestors include Ettinsmoor Shiraz, Birkettdown Chantery of Ettinsmoor, Fenmarsh Ivy of Ettinsmoor, Delfleet Larch and Augustus Tuplady of Leospring. See his page for his full pedigree.  Morse is a stunning looking dog full of substance for a working labrador which he gets from his sire FTCH Brindlebay Butller and with the looks and conformation of his dam Darcy (Ettinsmoor Shiraz). He has the most superb temperament and takes everything in his stride.

He attained a COM in a puppy test in 2011 when still quite a young pup. He will also be trained on with trialling in mind. I also have my eye very firmly on taking him to the Gamekeepers Ring at Crufts in the future.
